DittyTV is proud to present the World Premiere of “Amarillo Wind,” the first official video from Austin-based Americana songwriter, Chuck Hawthorne. “Amarillo Wind” is the second single from Fire Out Of Stone, Hawthorne’s sophomore studio album which will be available everywhere July 26, 2019.

Filmed on location at River Falls in the Palo Duro Canyon ranch land near Chuck’s hometown of Amarillo, Texas, the video brings the song to life – a story of love and death on the High Plains.
Chuck is a charismatic and compelling artist with considerable knowledge of Texas’ legacy of songwriters, and when he set out to write Fire Out Of Stone, he knew he was going to write about “survival, transition, and moving on – crucible songs,” just like his heroes Guy Clark and Townes Van Zandt were known to do.
The video for “Amarillo Wind” was directed by Amberly Russell, shot by cinematographer, Rich Baur, and features actors Citori Harris and Ethan Robinson.
